Apple Spice Cake Ingredients

• Spice Cake Mix – Duncan Hines makes a version, but any brand will work
• Apple Pie Filling – the secret ingredient in this recipe is a can of apple pie filling. You can substitute with your own homemade apple pie filling with fresh apples, but the canned filling works great and provides a nice moist
• Eggs – use 3 large eggs

How To Make Apple Spice Cake

Preheat the oven to 350º F and spray a 9x 13-inchpan with cooking spray or line the baking pan with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, mix together cake mix and eggs. Mix in the apple pie filling. This will be a really thick batter.

Spread batter into baking dish, making sure to spread evenly into the sides of the prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown. Let the cake cool and enjoy! Best served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
