It's a wrap! What a great way to end the Member Advisory Board meet and greet with the Secu leadership team! We traveled to six cities over the last two months to not only share updates but to answer any questions from our valuable members. Reflections: This week I was humbled by the opportunity to attend the annual conference of the African-American Credit Union Coalition. Congratulations on 25 years of making a true impact across the US. As my leader would say, there were so many great "gems" not only from the panelists, but we, as attendees also poured into each other! Thank you Kelli C. Flashback Friday! Last week we ended Financial Literacy Month with a bang!! 🎊🎉 Humbled by the opportunity to coordinate a Financial Literacy Workshop in my hometown (Sampson County)! The workshop consisted of educational sessions on understanding credit, money management and SECU's Reality of Money simulation. We partnered with three high schools and reached about 200 students!!! It was so great to see my high school teachers and fellow classmates!! To top it off...my mama and brother served as volunteers. 🥰 Shout out to the Clinton branch staff for assisting with presenting the financial sessions!
